We currently offer hair styling and makeup application services for weddings, special occasions and more. We are not a full-service salon with hair color, washing, etc.; however, we do have an independent licensed hair stylist that you can call Makiaj to book. 

We offer hair and makeup, hair only, makeup only, commercial and fashion services as well as individual and group makeup lessons. Many of our brides want to experience the ongoing benefits of Makiaj and our non-bridal services are the perfect way to pamper yourself long-term. 

It’s designed for anyone that wants to take great content. It’s designed to fit any mobile phone, mount to a tripod and can always be used with our Makiaj beauty light. You can use it as a handheld device but for the most amazing content use it paired with your favorite tripod. 

We think of our lashes as the final touch that completes our signature Makiaj look. Our lashes are varying lengths and placed along that lash line to create a natural, yet eye-enhancing look. We have four different lengths and they are safe enough to use for everyday wear. 

Whenever someone enters our studio in Scottsdale, they always comment on how pleasant our studio smells. We want our clients to be able to take that scent home with them so we created a candle with our signature Makiaj scent. Step into paradise with a 100% soy candle with the fragrance notes of neroli, coconut, copal and hibiscus. Our candle delivers a room-filling fragrance that is sure to last hours. 

After 10 years in the business and many lights used, we took the best of our favorite lights to create our very own Makiaj Beauty light. This light offers the ultimate brightness that is needed for photography and video in a way that promotes.

We provide dry hairstyling so come with clean dry hair and inspiration photos and get ready to see your Master Artist at work. We also have amazing partner salons if you are searching for an affordable blowout prior to your trial or wedding day. We would be happy to provide you with those references.

We do not recommend trailing 90 days before your wedding; however, if you’d like to add on a pre-trial or come in for a non-bridal hair and makeup session with us prior to your trial, we are always willing to accommodate at a set cost.The reason we recommend trialing no more than 90 days before your wedding is so we can guarantee that the same Master Artist you trial with, will be the same Master Artist for you. 90 days out from your wedding you can also request a specific Artist if you choose to do so, this is dependent upon availability.

We treat our trials as an optional a la carte experience. We can tell you that most brides prefer to trial first to custom curate their wedding day look. We highly recommend a trial; however, the choice is yours. You can book your trial up to 90 days prior to your wedding day.

Our bridal trials last between 2.5-3 hours. Come in and relax with a beverage in our bridal suite, while your artist helps to curate the perfect look for your special day. We believe that the most beautiful makeup is done when the element of trust is present. Our artists have years of experience with bridal makeup and have worked on thousands of faces to know what is best suited for our clients. Make sure to bring inspirational photos!

We love that you’ve seen a Makiaj Master Artist that resonates with you. All of our Master Artists are trained in both hair and makeup. We carefully select our Master Artist based on their skill and overall experience they provide brides. Our Master Artist’s schedules are the most up-to-date with their open availability, we allow you to request a specific artist no more than 90 days prior to your wedding date for a fee.

Yes, we love to travel to you. As long as the dates you’ve requested are available, we can come to your location of choice to provide you with the Makiaj experience.

We do not have specific courses to become a makeup artist; however, if you’d like to learn a few tips and tricks from one of our Master Artists a makeup lesson may be great for you. For example, if you really want to learn how to nail a red lip, smokey eye, brows or other facial features we can specifically focus on those features during your lesson.

We would love to have you visit our studio for your makeup lesson but it is not necessary. We can come to your group or we can do your individual makeup lesson virtually as well. For the best experience we recommend you come into our studio for your individual lesson but it’s completely up to you.

Our makeup lessons are taught by one of our Master Makeup Artists and are not one-size fits all. We truly get an understanding of what you want to learn in up to a 2-hour session. You can choose to learn individually or as a group. We also have some people that would prefer to learn by doing and have us do half their face, while they work on making the other half of their face match. Whatever your needs, inquire and we can customize a makeup lesson just for you or your group.

Our Ambassadors work in their own free time, accepting Makiaj jobs that work best for them. Our Ambassadors are not full-time employees. Our Ambassadors are 1099 contractors that benefit from our relationships with worldwide planners, our marketing and our back end booking process.
